My love for chocolates multiplied when I tasted RITTER SPORT chocolates last year (which coincidentally is now my favourite).
Ritter Sport is a brand of chocolate from Alfred Ritter GmbH & Co. KG, Germany.
I tried out these 5 flavours from Ritter Sport and this is my honest review:
- NUGAT PRALINE
This chocolate bar is a unique one from Ritters that contains lots of Hazelnuts and sugar cream. It has a nutty taste and contains 35g of fat.
Nugat Praline to me tastes like some old fashioned truffle chocolates. The taste is very mild and not too bitter.
- RUM RAISINS HAZELNUTS
I got tipsy the first time I ate this chocolate so don’t try it if you are light-headed like me. Lol.
The aroma of Rum Raisin is so overpowering because it contains real rum. The raisins on the other hand taste like they were soaked in a Jamaican rum.
- ESPRESSO
I have major obsession with Ritter Sport Espresso chocolates even though I rarely take coffee as I’m more of a tea person.
This chocolate contains robust Arabica Coffee. It is very smooth and not overpowering like Rum Raisin chocolate. It smells nice and even tastes better and yes, it is my favourite.
- STRAWBERRY YOGHURT
This is the ideal chocolate for strawberry lovers because this chocolate bar contains skimmed yoghurt, strawberry crispy rice and strawberry pieces.
It is made up of a pinkish yoghurt filling that melts easily in the mouth. It is so delicious.
- FINE EXTRA DARK CHOCOLATE
As the name implies is a very dark chocolate made using 73% Premium Arriba Cocoa from Ecuador. It contains 49g of fat and not ideal for people interested in losing weight (chocolates in general).
I’m not a fan of this chocolate bar because of it’s extreme bitter taste.
Have your ever tasted Ritter Sport chocolates? Which is your favourite?
