Is Clinque soap for acne worth the hype?
Acne, also known as acne vulgaris, is a long-term skin disease that occurs when hair follicles are clogged with dead skin cells and oil from the skin. It is characterized by blackheads or whiteheads, pimples, oily skin, and possible scarring (according to wikipedia).
It’s been 5 years since I started my fight against acne and all those years, acne prevailed until I started using Clinique Soap.
For more than 2 years, the guy who was and still is incharge of my cosmetics tried to persuade me that Clinque soap was all I needed. I gave him side eyes look because I thought he was just telling to sell pricey facial soap to me, which might to even work. I had my doubts, albeit right.
Before I started using Clinique Soap, I’ve tried many other remedies for acne. During those period, everyone became dermatologists with no certification (although they all meant well). I was adviced to give up butter, groundnut and everything fatty. Truth is, nothing worked!
I even went to a dermatologist to get dozes of antibiotic injections like Corticosteroids Injection but it only worked for a while before the acne returned with its umunna (kindreds).
At a point, I tried being a vegan but my love for meat soon made me quit that lifestyle and my acne returned, Again!
The only option left to be tried out was clinque soap which I bought for #12000.
I was instructed to wet the bar and make a good lather in my hands until the soap feels more like cream and then apply to my face, then rinse with warm water until all traces of soap are gone.
I followed the instructions religiously like my life depended on it. Using Clinique soap made me discover that the medicated soap doesn’t dry out the face, rather it uncloged my pores, removes dirt and excess oil and every other impurities. Clinque soap has a very slight smell, no perfume at all, it just smells really fresh and the bar doesn’t dissolve easily. But after lathering it on my face, it made my face so tight.
I used it twice a day and on the third day, I summoned the courage to look myself in the mirror. At this time, I already knew that Clinque soap was/is all I need because it fought the breakouts, killed them and buried them. It was like a miracle of some sort.
I know most ladies battle with acne which is why I shared this post, to tell them there is hope- a lasting remedy. This is not a sponsored post, it’s only a testimonial and I hope you find it helpful.
