6 NON-MEDICAL WAYS TO OVERCOME JETLAG

Jetlag according to Wikipedia is “a physiological condition which results from alterations to the body’s circadian rhythms resulting from rapid long-distance trans-meridian (east–west or west–east) travel on high-speed aircraft.”

Many people suffer jetlag after a long flight. It disorganises the sleep pattern and sometimes, it lasts for many days before the person can adjust to the new timezone.

People often ask: what’s the best way to get in sync with a new country after a long trip? Today we will answer that question but please note, this is not a medical advice.

This practice involves resting your bare feet on a patch of earth, is one of the best way to get in sync with a new time zone.

4. Try hot coffee

Daily Telegraph affirms that ”caffeine directly affects the body clock by delaying a rise in the level of the hormone melatonin, the main sleep hormone released by the body to make us feel sleepy”.

5. Sleep

Forcing yourself to sleep can also help with jetlag. Try as much as you can to adopt the same sleep pattern as people in that country.

6. The best way to reset the body is to lie under a bright Light (on a Sun Bed for example) for at least a couple of hours, this will minimise any feeling of jet lag. But don’t forget to use your sunscreen before doing that.

Conclusively, we are all,and everything on this planet is stardust. All made from the same elemental dust Why wouldn’t being in contact with the earth ,help? Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it

However outrageous all these sound, they are definitely worth a try even just for the placebo effect.
