Our first question is from Miss Worried girl. “I have a hair challange. I’ve been battling with dandruff from time immemorial. It is so bad that I don’t know what else to do. Please help.

Dear Worried girl,

I am truly sorry about this issue you have but I want to promise you that there is a remedy and I will help you overcome this hair challange.

Before we get to the remedy, first I will have to educate you on the causes of dandruff. Dandruff is a hair condition that affects both men and women. It sometimes causes itchy scalp and white flakes in the hair. It is caused by:

1. Dry skin.

2. Skin conditions like Seborrheic dermatitis and eczema.

3. Overgrowth of yeast.

4. Stress.

5. Too much oil on the scalp.

Dandruff has a remedy. Many people are often deceived by labels. Most brands claim their products cure dandruff but often times, it worsen it.

Have you ever heard of Tea Tree oil? Do you know it has antibacterial elements that can cure dandruff whether chronic or moderate?

That is my prescription for you. Add few drops of tea tree oil on your shampoo and conditioner and wash your hair twice a week. It doesn’t smell wonderful but it is all you need.

Tea tree oil have been used for many years for this purpose. It is a plant that grows in Australia. It has many healing properties.(Read more about it here). You can also order your tea tree oil from us by simply placing an order here)

Also you can try specialised shampoo for dandruff that contains selenium Sulfide, Salicylic acid, zinc, sulfur etc. I hope you find this helpful and please keep in touch with us.
