SATURDAY INSPIRATION: BEVERLY WARNER, JAZZ SINGER AND SONGWRITER

Happy weekend to you, my ardent readers and welcome to my blog. Few days ago we had a brief chat with Beverly Warner, a British born,German-based jazz singer/songwriter with the most melodious voice I’ve ever heard.

She’s a mother of three, a wife, an ardent gardner and a passionate singer. Beverly has been a jazz artist for 25 years and she said delving into jazz ‘was purely accidental’.

She loves jazz music because of the ‘discipline, the variety and the freedom it affords’ and her style is very unique.

Her motto is: It doesn’t matter what style- from Jazz to Hip-Hop! If it’s good, that’s good!

Beverly has done so many projects but her most exciting project in the past was ‘bringing Jazz to kids from 1 to 12 – together with the Philharmonic Orchestra called, Jazz for Kids

Beverly dropped this word for www.chiomaokoyeakpawusi.com ‘Don’t start anything unless you are passionate about it!’
