PRODUCT REVIEW: VISIBLY CLEAR BLACKHEAD ELIMINATING DAILY SCRUB BY NEUTROGENA

Can I shock you a little bit,

Even though I am a product junkie when it comes to hair, makeup and skin care; the truth is that I wear makeup occasionally. Maybe just a little here and there,one Sunday in a month, or when I’m trying out new stuff.

My first experience with breakouts was after the birth of my son, 7 years ago and I once shared how I got rid of my breakouts here. My skin care regimen worked for me until I started neglecting my skin due to my very busy schedules and I had the worst kind of breakouts which is a tad depressing.

Therefore, today’s post is a review of a facial scrub product which I used to get my face back to its clear default mode.

COMPANY’S CLAIM

This company claims that their product:

Is clinically proven to help eliminate existing blackhead and prevent further blackheads for up to 3 weeks. Also, the creamy scrub with exfoliating micro beads unclog pores to remove trapped oil and dirt, the source of blackheads.

Every product in the market have their claims but it’s left for the customers to find out how accurate it is. Many months ago, I bought this scrub to include it in my skin care routine but I rarely used it until my recent breakouts. I knew I needed to exfoliate my face which is why I used this product.

OBSERVATION

This facial scrub is packaged in 150ml plastic container. It has a well-fitted white lid with a hole in the middle. When I applied this product on my face, I felt some tingle and I also realized that the sand-like content wasn’t too coarse, rather it exfoliated my face gently.

I applied this product in a circular motion and I made sure to evenly distribute it on my face. Also, this Product really feels creamy and contains some orange granules. Another thing I noticed after using the scrub was that my face wasn’t so tightened, so I could still smile without feeling like a botox-like frozen face.

INGREDIENTS

This product contains water (Aqua), Cetyl Alcohol, PPG-15  stearyl Ether, Salicylic Acid which can be found in many exfoliants.

FINAL THOUGHTS 

This product deserves a 4 star ratings and I therefore recommend this product to anyone suffering from blackheads and breakouts because I can confirm the company’s claims to be true.
