Some people say the best fragrances are produced in Paris and today’s review affirms this assertion. When you talk about exquisite and cheap perfumes (in relative terms), Franck Olivier takes the lead. He has launched over 40 fragrances and he is famous for oud touch which i reviewed here
This perfume opens with a musk and ylang ylang smell which is the dominant fragrance and also has the combination of black currant in the top and a sensual smell of vetiver at the base.
Bamboo by Franck Olivier has a floral, clean and crisp smell. As the perfume wears off, you will most likely perceive the smell of a freshly cut grass and I love that very much.
Another point is that this perfume stays close to the skin and I recommend you wear it to date night, picnics but NOT to work because the lily and musk notes make it appear too sensual. I can say that this perfume has an exquisite and chic smell.
Now as a perfume named after Bamboo, I expected to perceive a little bit of that but it is totally non-existent.
The silage looks okay but not with a wow factor but then, the perfume is cheap so that justifies the bland and un-appealing packaging.
This perfume has moderate projection. I noticed that after 4 hours, the smell faded away and that is so disappointing.
This fragrance comes in a 50 and 75ml edp. Prices start from 10,000 Naira.

I must admit that Franck Olivier did a great job with this fragrance. The beautiful floral scent makes this perfume appealing, seductive and intoxicating!
I really like the scent of this perfume, but for longevity, I will advice you pair it with another perfume. I combine mine with Black Opium by Yves St Laurent which is one of my most favourite perfumes.
Also, I think this fragrance is more suitable for summer weather and spraying it on your skin will make it last longer.
