THE BEST SKIN MOISTURIZER: CLINIQUE MOISTURE SURGE INTENSE FORTIFYING HYDRATOR

OVERVIEW

The wrong thing about giving advice and recommendations is that if doesn’t work, people will hold you responsible. But today’s post will definitely push you to send thank you notes to me and I am already expecting lots of them.

The thirst for a super flawless skin is  real gurrllllll and today’s post is all about my experience with Clinique Moisture Surge Intense Fortifying Hydrator. The name alone is enough to make your skin look velvety soft and it actually does if you end up using it. I have been a super fan of everything Clinique because of the role their anti-blemish soap played in getting rid of my acne. You can find the post here.

COMPANY’S CLAIM

Clinique claims that this product is capable of plumping up the skin with 24 hours hydration and also that this product is oil free. In their words, they claim that ‘Daily use helps fortify skin’s moisture barrier to keep moisture in and environmental irritants out. A better barrier means happier skin.’ Now, I will urge you to read on to ascertain how true their assertion is.

OBSERVATION

Before I started using this product, I was a little bit addicted to my Sebamed face cream  and Garnier cream for dry skin. But I noticed that the face cream makes my face looks so greasy after application.

For this reason, I started looking for something that will moisturize my dry skin, protect my skin from environmental hazards and add an unmissable glow!

You see, I  had high expectations and I am here to tell you all about my Clinique experience: Part 2! I noticed how quickly my skin soaked up this moisturizer and how smooth my skin felt afterwards- a newborn-baby-kinda-skin without exaggeration! This product really hydrates this skin and leaves no residue on the skin. It is very lightweight and doesn’t leave my skin greasy like when I use my sebamed face cream.  Also, it is not infused with lots of fragrance rather it smells herbal. I never knew this product was a goldmine!

PACKAGING

Sadly, this product is packaged in a 30ml luxurious bottle and in my opinion, it is posh enough!

PRICING

This product doesn’t come cheap. I got this product for 29 Euro at Müller. That’s a lot of money for a 30ml product which might not last for more than a month.

FINAL THOUGHTS

This product is very nice and I have been raving about it ever since I bought it. And really does it work? It DOES ! I first use the Clinique soap while bathing which lathers so well but truthfully, it dries out the skin a little bit, which is why this moisture surge is a great product. It keeps your skin hydrated and supple. I really recommend this product and I hearby give it a 5 star rating!
