Today we will delve into the best cleansers for sensitive skin. Like we all know, Cleansing is an essential skin care routine that should be incorporated by all. When you cleanse your skin, you help it get rid of dead skin and also unclog your pores.
Before we go into our today’s recommendations, I’ll like to give you a brief definition of sensitive skin.
Sensitive skin: as the name implies, is a type of skin that is sensitive and can be easily irritated. Sensitive skin can sometimes be classified as baby skin because they need to be handled delicately. For this type of skin, harsh cleansers should be totally eliminated from the skin care regimen. Always use only clean and non-irritable towels on your skin.
People with sensitive skin are usually acne-prone and might suffer from irritation. Which is why you should use products that have no paraben, dermatologically tested, contains antioxidants, non-comedogenic and fragrance free. Purchase products that contain chamomile extract, aloe Vera, squalane, Niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, Ceramides, lactic acid, calendula extract, shea butter, etc.
In my book, THE SKINCARE ROUTINE MANUAL, I expanded on this topic because I have a sensitive skin as well. I shared my skincare routine, which was curated for me by esthetician and dermatologist and how and when to use them.
BEST CLEANSERS FOR SENSITIVE SKIN
1. CMD SANDORINI REINIGUNGSMILCH

I use CMD face cleansing milk for sensitive skin to wash my face. It doesn’t dry out my skin and the consistency is second to none. One of its first five Ingredients is jojoba oil which mimics the sebum, which is close to our natural skin oil. Using the appropriate skin care products for my sensitive skin helps my skin to be maintained without causing irritation to the skin. It is also very paramount that you read the ingredients in your cleanser to find out if it is suitable for you.
2. SEBAMED CLEAR FACE CLEANSING FOAM

This cleanser contains panthenol which can help maintain /balance the pH of your skin and also clears the bacteria from your skin which causes acne.
3. CETAPHIL GENTLE SKIN CLEANSER

You can never go wrong with this dermatologists favourite. It cleanses the skin mildly without causing any irritation or dryness and it can also help balance the pH level of your skin. The only problem with this cleanser is that it contains parabens.
