3 OVER-THE-COUNTER ACNE PRODUCTS THAT WORKS
1.AHA.

This should be one of the products in your skin care regimen at this time. It can be in the form of a glycolic acid, which is a more gentle form of exfoliation or lactic acid. How does this cure acne you might be wondering? Well, AHA which means Alpha Hydroxy Acids treats acne by exfoliating the dead skin cells which may cause acne. It also reduces and regulates the sebum production by this skin, because acne patients tend to have over-production of sebum which causes acne. You can get a good AHA product from THE ORDINARY SKIN CARE Line. Make sure you don’t over-exfoliate as this will break your skin barriers over time and cause more problems for you.
2. BENZOL PEROXIDE

Benzol Peroxide kills the bacteria which causes acne. That means, it kills the existing problems and helps prevent new breakouts. It also helps to unclog the pores and remove excess oil from the skin. However, many acne patients report that Benzoyl Peroxide was too drying for their skin. So make sure you use it at night and moisturize afterwards. When starting out with Benzol Peroxide, start from 2,5% to build up your tolerance level.
3. NIACINAMIDE SERUM

Niacinamide is a form of vitamin B3 with anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties that do not only treat active breakouts but also help to fade acne scars and discolouration. This product can be used to treat severe form of acne and even inflammatory forms like pustules and papules.
Also, it helps brighten acne scar and hyperpigmentation. Lathering this product to your face can heal existing breakouts in 28 days and help prevent new breakouts. It is however, worthy to note that Niacinamide can dry out the skin and make your face more sensitive to the sunlight. The Ordinary Skincare line has a wonderful Niacinamide product you can invest in.
There are many other products you can use to cure your acne, but if you’ve done all these without seeing an improvement, then you need to find a dermatologist.
