FALL/WINTER MORNING SKIN CARE ROUTINE

Hello and welcome back to my blog. It is autumn in the northern hemisphere. That time of the season when our skin get dry and probably crack, which is the reason why we should adjust our skin care routine and incorporate a few of the items I will mention below.

Before we delve into this topic, make sure to pick up a copy of my book, which I linked below, to get a comprehensive guide on how to care for your skin all year round.

MORNING SKINCARE ROUTINES FOR WINTER/FALL

1. Vitamin C.

Vitamin c serum

Adding a vitamin c serum to your winter/fall skin care routine, will not just help brighten your skin, but also help get rid of fine lines and wrinkles. Vitamin C is a potent “active”, which has so much benefits to the skin.
How to apply: After washing your face, pat dry and apply 2 to 3 drops of your vitamin C serum, then follow it up with the next step below.

2. Hyaluronic Acid

Hyaluronic acid

If you have been following my blog from the inception, you must have noticed that this is my holy grail. It traps in moisture to your face and keeps it supple and healthy.
How to apply: Apply it to your face after using the vitamin c serum and wait for a few seconds.

3. Eyecream

Eye cream

Use an eyecream in winter, if you don’t want your eye area to be dried out. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy. A simple eyecream would do. Apply it after using your hyaluronic acid.

4. Moisturizer

moisturiser

In the colder months, you should be using a moisturiser and i am not talking about applying a pea-sized to your face. Douse your face in moisturiser if possible to lock in the moisture. Do this after applying your eyecream.

5. Sunscreen

Sunscreen

Using your Sunscreen all year long has lots of benefits for your skin. It blocks off the UVB/A Rays and protects your skin from a type of cancer called melanoma.
